Under the PSD2 directive you (the PSU) , must grant the explicit consent prior to us (Finance Incorporated Ltd - the CBPII - Card Based Payment Instrument Issuer) being authorised to answering to Confirmation of Funds requests to the PSUs ASPSPs. This explicit authorisation is required for every card/payment account that is accessible online by the PSU.
